|this isn't my picture but it's pretty cute.|
So you see I found my old iPod, scrolled through all the music I used to listen to. (And, quite frankly, Hannah Montana is still near the top of my music list...)
I found this playlist called "Top 25 Listened to." And so I clicked on it. Had a quick look through the songs. Nothing much I wanted to listen to -- but, hey! Might as well. They're on the top 25 anyway.
And then it occurred to me: If that's how it goes, then they're always going to be the top 25.
The thought that went through my head? This is like my life. I have my norm, I live it and nothing changes. It's as my top songs go something like this:
#FEAR WINS OVER AGAIN
#I DON'T WANNA HURT MY PRIDE
#YOU PROBABLY DON'T LIKE ME ANYWAY
What about Jesus'? What would've his little playlist have looked like? Maybe...
#TRUSTING GOD DESPITE ALL MY FEAR
#IN HUMILITY CONSIDER THEM BETTER THAN ME
#LOVE THEM HOW I CAN
"not what we can do for God but because of Him."
