what would happen

I'm on Pinterest now.

it's the final month of autumn. there aren't any autumn leaves by our house so winter came a little earlier this year. it's been one of those days where the fire is on and you just look at your window and read your Bible and then flip through an old diary and smile about how God was with you when you hardly even knew who He was.

there are so many promises in the Bible. too often, we plunge forward, convinced we've got to fix things for ourselves. so sure that we've got it worked out; we're in control.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

I wonder what would happen if I didn't worry about anything. If I prayed about everything. If I told God what I need and thanked Him for all He's done.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

That's what would happen.

  1. Wow! I forgot you were half a world away from my. Winter!?

I, a little too often, try to take control. That mental state of "I am a super woman"; that my way is best, or, that I could get it done a whole lot faster really makes it difficult for me to allow God to take control.

However, every time God shows me things that serve to redirect me, humble me, quiet my spirit, and tell me that I am not in control. Because if I truly was, then my whole world would be falling to pieces around me with no purpose. But with God, when things do seem like they're falling apart, He has a purpose. That's so comforting!!!!!!

And I wonder, too, what would happen if we prayed without ceasing. My best guess would be PEACE!

    Love ya,
