Remembering the old times

Old times. Remember the times when you did everything the same as your best friend? Remember the time when all us girlz wrote "KUTAW!" (Keep up the Awesome Work) at the end of each comment we wrote? Remember when you first started you blog? Remember the way you used to go to your friends house all the time, back when you lived in a different town?  Remember how you always dreamed of becoming a famous singer, and signed autographs to your "fans"? Remember the times you hated someone so bad you hurt them? Remember the time someone hurt you? ...Remember the time you asked God to forgive them, to forgive you?

That's a lot of rememing, girlz. Today, I have three questions for you to answer. They are:

Remember the time you started your blog. What made you create it? Did you even know why you were doing this?

Remember the time you discovered your favourite singer. Who was she/he? What made you love them? How did they change your perspective on something?

...And, the final question.

Remember the time you decided to give your life to God. Maybe you were only a little kid, and prayed a prayer when you were with your mum or dad -- or both. Maybe you went to a camp, and had an experience that was life-changing. Or maybe, one day, you just knew that's what you have to do. Or maybe you're not ready to make this decision yet.
Whatever the answer, I'd love to hear it.

And, girlz, remember to send in any questions you might have about anything -- to girlz4god.G4G@hotmail.com -- or comment them in a post -- for the "Dear Emii" advice section. :)

Luv,Emii

PS -- Thanks for all the lovely comments about the new blog look! :D

  2. Hey Em,

I started my blog because I was like, this blog is sooo awesome, I'm SO getting a blog, lolz :)

I don't actually remember when I gave my life to God, but I know I have.

My favorite singer turned really bad when I was younger. Like, REALLY bad, and she used to be SOOO good. It made me totally upset -- like, this girl was so awesome, and now she's like, turned TOTALLY away from God. It was so horrible for me to handle that, and I guess that's one reason I'm so for Girls who don't know God yet, or who are slipping away and that kind of stuff.

    Great post!

  8. Hm, I started my blog (which is on Xanga, www.Abinotabby.xanga.com) just to keep up with my friends and now I have started to use it a lot.

I was about six when I got saved. :) I was in the car with my mom listening to a speaker on the radio. He said that anyone not right with God goes to Hell. So with my mom's help I asked Jesus to become Lord of me!

My favorite singer? Well, when I was younger it was Hillary Duff. If I remember right, back when she was young. Influenced me? I din't think at all.

    ♥ Your Blog!
